BEN

Last month was a good month because on the 3rd of October it was my birthday. Unfortunately there was a postal strike in England so I did not get most of my cards until late. I think that I will get a PS3 with my birthday money but I’m not sure.

Anyway on my birthday I went to Plaza Mayor in Malaga to go bowling and to the cinema. It was good because my mate Ashley came. He beat me at bowling. At the pictures we went to see the new Bruce Willis movie; Die Hard 4 it was really good. The only bad thing was that there was no sweet popcorn so we had to make do with a coca cola and some sweets!

At school I have got to know no most of the people in my class - some of them are really nice. I am going to start football training again soon, some of the people in my class are doing it as well J.
Finally to illustrate the value of reading here are some interesting facts:

Bens Interesting Facts
The word dinosaur means terrible lizard.
Listen has the same letters as silent.

We shut our eyes when we sneeze because it is physically impossible not to. Sneezing is a reflex reaction controlled by the autonomous nervous system witch controls your heart rate and breathing and can’t be consciously controlled. There used to be a theory that if you did keep your eyes open while sneezing your eyes would pop out, but nobody has been able to test it!

Hmmm…yes thanks for that Ben. Also did you know that the best part of believe is the lie?
Well…as my brother said it was his 12th birthday, and we went to Plaza Mayor, but he failed to mention I also beat him at bowling!

7 weeks ago, our 2 dogs bobby and Kane had a puppy. After 5 weeks we finally thought of a name for him; Winston, like, “chill Winston”. He is the cutest thing ever! He is always annoying bobby, by following her around and biting her tail but Kane, his dad, is scared of him!

It is getting further into the school year now, which means exams and lots of homework! We get lots of exams in Spain throughout the year, but we don’t have to do sats, which has its pros and cons. For example, sats only happen once a year and if you fail them that’s it, but if you do lots of exams, like we do in Spain it doesn’t matter so much if you fail one or two
